Ensuring our elections are safe and secure starts with protecting election offices from physical threats, such as the thwarted ISIS-linked plot targeting an Election Day attack in Oklahoma, announced in early October.1 Election offices can take preparatory measures to enhance their protection, establish operational and infrastructure resilience, and rapidly respond to any attempts to cause physical harm to voters and election administrators.
